A quick little note for our dog park friends. We removed a couple of trees down the hill from the GO. A couple of our guests questioned our crew ast to why we were cutting down the trees. The MAC is responsible for removing approach and departure path obstructions, and unfortunately, those trees had grown into the runway 12R-30L protected area. We are also removing some trees from the northwest corner of Mother’s Lake (near Cedar and Xtown) and from an area near the Ft. Snelling Officer’s Club. So please know we are simply following FAA rules.
