I spoke to an older gentleman tonight that indicated there were leg hold traps in the swamp. Has anyone else heard this? Can anyone verify this?

There are no traps at the dog park. These traps were removed a couple of weeks after the signs were posted back in April 2010. As I understand they were having a problem with Coyotes and/or Foxes getting inside the restricted area. The dogs were not the target.

There was a sign posted on the fence before it was torn down. Brian got a photo of it:
