Week of February 23

Thanks to last week’s snowfall, conditions are perfect again at the dog park. The snowpack is walkable and still relatively dry and fluffy. Today is sunny and temperatures are near 30, so get out and enjoy the winter we have left!

Hi! I have yet to bring my dog to the Airport Dog Park, but I’m looking for a place to exercise him on Friday nights. I may have missed the info somewhere, but are there designated park hours, or does MAC not enforce them? I see that the heaviest traffic is 5-7 p.m. weekdays, but [...]

It took me awhile but they are done, in hand, and soon to be posted around the park.
What do you think? They are 4″ by 11″. I have 8 signs. I was thinking 1 on each side of the 4 gates but they may not be seen by 28th ave parkers.

Very poor conditions today. The melting snowpack has turned into glossy ice so slick even the dogs are wiping out on it. You’ll want your YakTrax today for sure.
There are patches of exposed grass here and there. Best place to throw a ball is at the top of the hill by the runway.
