If you don’t mind the cold, conditions are perfect at the park right now. Snow is powdery, making for decent traction, and still shallow enough for easy walking. The ground is virtually covered with relatively new snow, so no matter how much wrestling and rolling around your dog may do, he’ll still be clean when you take him home.

My long hair Jessie was having problems with ice forming in her pads. I noticed several other long hair dogs having similar problems. Does anyone know a good way to prevent this problem without using boots.
