My vet suggested getting the Leptospirosis vaccine because they visit the dog park. This can be passed on by infected urine in drinking water. Chances may be slim but the dogs like to pee on my buckets of water.

Has anyone been down to the river lately? I’ve been told access is impossible, beaches are underwater and water is dangerously fast.
I have had two people make reference to “quicksand” or “dogs that go in and don’t come out” while at the park in the last few weeks. Is there any truth to this? And if so, does anyone know which part of the marsh is most dangerous? (yes, I am aware it’s off [...]
