During this year’s spring cleanup on April 19, we hauled away several hundred pounds of poop.   I got to meet many new people and dogs who enjoy and care about the park.  I also saw many of the parks regulars spending several hours helping with the pickup.  

Extra effort notables include Beth, CR, Buska, and Tucker they were better prepared than I with supplies (& great signs) for the event.  Mary and the Pack of Three hauled over 125lbs out.  Robin and Vinnie hauled over 200lbs out.  I have missed many individuals who also gave the clean-up and extra effort and deserve a special THANK YOU.    

I know this is a constant problem at the park and is getting even getting harder with the longer grass and growing visitors.  I will try to establish more frequent poop sweeps of the park.  Any ongoing help is greatly appreciated.
