Expect small, scattered puddles on the high ground from recent rains, especially near the gates. The lower ground has largely dried up from the thaw, although the edge of the cattails remains soupy, with standing water where the high water level of the lake is encroaching. The marsh boundary will likely remain wet and soggy for the foreseeable future, unless spring and/or summer brings us a drought.

We’re starting to see a slight greening of the grass and the return of ground cover over otherwise bare patches of ground, such as the main mound and the small field by the eastern gate.
