A read an article in the Star Tribune that talks about how with the new dog park phenomenom comes more people who are bringing dogs for the wrong reasons.  This pamphlet talks about good dog park etiquette.  Should we hang them up at the park?

The MAC prefers that we don’t hang any signs on the fence. They have turned a blind eye to our sign announcing this Web site, as they recognize the Catch-22 in expecting certain behavior from visitors but not being able to tell people where to find expectations.

Good article…… I believe that the good folks who do visit and read the posts here are a small percentage of the visitors to this public area. I also think the ones that do visit here are not the ones who abuse the rules of this common area…as posted above its a HUGE Catch 22..but at least we do have a public site to post on for anyone who wants to use it

Here’s an idea. I’ll create a Dog Park Etiquette page to include in the main navigation, then post links to the above page and others that anyone wants to submit.

Slugger’s right–only a fraction of owners visit this site, which makes it difficult to communicate on a widespread basis. But let’s at least have the information easy to get to for folks that make it here.

So, send me your links, everyone. :)
