Just a note to say how much we will miss all of our friends out at the airport. We may come out for a ‘fix’ periodically but not often.

On November 27, Devi (The cute blonde with the dark tufts on her ears) was euthanized after a short, agonizing battle with aspiration pneumonia. We stopped coming to the park four or five days prior to that because we thought she had contracted Kennel Cough out at the park in spite of her vaccinations. One vet confirmed the Kennel Cough but she worsened over the weekend. We went to the U of MN on Sunday night and after two days in ICU we got the call at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. A tough decision because she was only 16 months old.

So good-bye for now. Love them while you can.

So sorry for your loss…. I too just lost two very good friends myself. Sometimes the best therapy is a new puppy to love….

I’m saddened by your loss, Warren and Sam. Godspeed, little Devi.

Sorry for your loss. Hope you can open your hearts to a new pup soon to help fill that gaping hole they leave.
God bless, Belinda and “Honey”, the Westie with the scarf

Oh, we are so so sorry to hear this news. We loved seeing Devi at the park and Ziggy liked to romp with her. It’s hard to believe. We will be thinking of you and hoping you can find some peace in this difficult time.

Love, Ziggy, Lori and Jeff

Your news about Devi brought tears to my eyes. I just can’t believe it… 16 months is way too soon to have to make that hard decision. “Love them while you can” Hopefully, we will remember your words of wisdom. I know Devi was a very beautiful and happy dog and was lucky to have you to take her to the park to play. I did get 8 photos of her at the park and have them posted on Flickr in a set called “Devi”. I don’t know if you are aware of these pictures. I would be glad to buy you some prints that I can get be delivered to any Target store if you like them. Also, thought it would be nice to see her picture by your notice (I will remove if you want). I am really saddened by your loss of Devi and I’m hoping you are at peace.

Something to say?
