PHYSICAL DISTRACTIONS

Distracting The Dogs – A loud sound or air horn near their heads to startle them may gain sufficient time to stop the fight.  See “Using a Air Horn”

Covering Heads – Something can be thrown over the heads of both dogs to confuse them. This may stop the fight and allow time for one or both dogs to be removed.

One Response to “AIRPORT DOG PARK – TIPS TO HELP BREAK UP A DOG FIGHT (revised)”

My wife read these and really hated the idea of grabbing the dog legs or any other part due to safety concerns for the person and the dogs. The best idea may be Devon’s airhorn suggestion.
