ANYONE AT THE PARK BETWEEN 8 TO 10 AM FRIDAY 7/27, WITNESSED A HELICOPTER FLYING WILDLY OVER THE PARK. VERY UNUSUAL SINCE THE PLANES WERE TAKING OFF TO THE NORTH. Breaking up Fights

I’ve been carrying a squeaker (the insides of a disemboweled squeaky toy) with me, and have found that using it distracts dogs that are starting to fight.  It’s been great, especially for the “gang up on the underdog” type situation.  You can also buy these at pet stores, just a little vinyl “bladder” that squeaks.

Some nimrod was shooting fireworks off at the dog park recently and didn’t pick up after himself. I found a roman candle tube still packed with gunpowder, which would probably smell pretty yummy to some dogs.

I know it’s been a few weeks now since I even first noticed it, but what happened to the tree on the south side of the park?  It was cut down (that’s obvious) but why?
