My little Chester, a cogi/rat terrier mix, was rescued from a barn when he was a little puppy. He’s still not quite a year old and still pretty nervous around bigger dogs. There was some evidence that he was probably beat up by the bigger/older dogs.
Anyway, I’d love to be able to take him when I know there will be more dogs his size to play with. Every time I take him to the park he has more and more fun and the park because a better experience, but there are times we go when it’s all big dogs, or dogs retrieving balls, you know, things that make him nervous.
I’ve looked into Pint Size Play but at 30 pounds he’s too big for that. He’s just really short and easily intimidated.
